Child-First Child Support Session (Guided Learning)
These sessions are designed for children who benefit from a calm, flexible, and understanding learning environment, including children with ASD, ADHD, sensory differences, or those who experience the world differently.
Led by an educator experienced and qualified in supporting children with special needs, sessions focus on connection first — building trust, emotional safety, and confidence before introducing any social or learning expectations.
Through hands-on science, creative making, and guided exploration, children are gently supported to:
-
Feel safe, understood, and respected
-
Build confidence and emotional regulation
-
Practise social interaction in natural, low-pressure ways
-
Learn at their own pace, with flexibility and choice
There is no forced participation or rigid outcomes. Children may join in, observe quietly, or take breaks when needed. Guidance is responsive, child-led, and adjusted in the moment based on each child’s readiness and comfort.
These sessions provide a therapeutic-style experience without the formality of clinical therapy, allowing learning, connection, and growth to happen naturally through shared experiences.
