LEARNING AT THEIR OWN PACE
~ Guided by curiosity, not age ~
Xplorers.Life is home to our over-a-decade-old Science Explorers programme — a hands-on science enrichment initiative built around commonly taught science concepts and experiments (including those found in the MOE syllabus), and extended through exploration and creative making.
Our programmes are designed to be engaging and accessible for learners from different age, abilities and educational backgrounds, including MOE schools, international schools, and homeschooling families.
How the programme works
- 🔬 Builds on commonly taught science concepts and experiments
- 🌿 Outdoor and indoor activities (weather dependable)
- 🧠 Encourages children to test ideas, question outcomes, and explore logic
- 🔁 Mistakes are expected and used as part of learning
- 🛠 Extends science learning through creative maker activities
- 👥 Conducted in small, guided groups
Our Learning Environment
We create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe to explore, experiment, make mistakes, and learn from them.
Curiosity, confidence, and collaboration are valued more than getting the “right answer”.
Science, Experimentation
& Creative Making
While science experiments form the core of our sessions, children are also given opportunities to apply what they learn through creative maker activities—such as building, designing, and problem-solving.
This helps learners connect scientific concepts to real-world thinking, creativity, and practical application.
“We turn curiosity into adventures—learning together, one exciting experiment at a time.”

Our programmes are generally suitable for primary-aged children, with activities adapted to different age ranges and abilities.
Small group sizes allow facilitators to adjust the level of guidance and challenge so each child can engage meaningfully at their own pace.

Yes. Our programme is designed for children with different learning styles and confidence levels.
We focus on curiosity, understanding, and exploration rather than getting the “right answer”, making the sessions suitable for both confident and hesitant learners.
That’s not only okay — it’s encouraged.
At Science Explorers, mistakes are seen as an important part of learning. Children are guided to test ideas, observe outcomes, reflect, and try again, helping them build understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
During the small group classes, our facilitators support children through the process, reminding them that not every experiment works the first time, and that curiosity and effort matter more than getting the “right answer”.
For community sessions, parents are encouraged to gently guide their children in finding alternatives or solutions, helping them build flexibility, resilience, and a positive mindset.
